Packaging

Packaging is crucial to protect our garments from dirt and damage on the way to your doorstep. Unfortunately, however, there is also a downside - packaging waste. To avoid this, the best way is the so-called circular economy. The central approaches of the circular economy are to keep products in use as long as possible and to recycle them at the end of their life so that they can be used again as raw materials for new products. Therefore both our tissue paper, which is in your online order, and our hanging bags are made from recycled plastic, which is then returned to this cycle.

Cardboard is a renewable, raw material and therefore a sustainable packaging material. The important thing about cardboard is that it is uncoated and can therefore be recycled and returned to the material cycle at the end of its life. Accordingly, the carrier bags you receive with your purchase in our stores and our shipping boxes for online retail are made from uncoated and responsibly sourced cardboard, with special consideration for sustainable forestry. Our goals for 2023/2024 include converting our packaging to sustainable materials. This includes reducing new plastic by switching to cardboard and increasing the use of recycled plastic.
