Wool

For the colder days we like to use a high quality wool due to its natural origin that brings qualitative advantages. The fibers are antibacterial, breathable, durable, as well as dirt and water repellent. Wool is a constantly renewable and biodegradable raw material and is therefore one of the sustainable materials, which we source from New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.

At van Laack we see it as our duty of care to pay attention to responsible wool production, which includes both animal welfare and environmental protection. Therefore, we refrain from using real fur, angora wool, down and exotic leather.

Pure new wool

Pure new wool is obtained exclusively by shearing live sheep and is therefore of particularly high quality. In addition, no chemical substances or synthetic fibers are added.

Merino wool

This wool is obtained exclusively by shearing live Merino sheep. This is the finest and softest virgin wool. The manufacturing and processing process of merino wool is very resource efficient and sustainable.
