For more than 80 years and still, "Rosenfelder" has been manufacturing buttons and accessories as one of the few remaining button manufacturers with production in Germany at their site in Rosenfeld - a period of time in which a wealth of experience has been built up in the design, processing and finishing of these diverse products. Their creations focus on sustainable natural materials such as mother-of-pearl, real horn, stone nut and wood, and are complemented by high-quality plastic materials, where the traditional oil-based polyester resins have been replaced by new, environmentally friendly bio-based binders. For mother-of-pearl buttons, which are among the most precious types of buttons, shells and casings from sea creatures farmed or fished for food or for the pearl industry are processed.
