What is the Product Safety Regulation (ProdSVO)?

The ProdSVO regulates the requirements for the safety of products sold on the European Economic Area market. It ensures that products do not pose a risk to the health and safety of consumers.

The obligations of clothing manufacturers include clear labelling of products, the use of tested materials, and regular inspections. The regulation also requires the recall of potentially hazardous products and improved consumer information about possible risks.
